I was inspired by the greens and blues and the bright white embossing in the inspiration photo to come up with this card:-
I started by making a paper mask and masked off half a panel of card before stamping and embossing my new Split Triangles Background stamp from MFT with white embossing powder, to add some texture and shine. I then removed the mask and used my stencil brushes to apply various shades of blue and green ink across the panel.
I took a die from the MFT Blueprints 24 set and cut the curved rectangle from the panel and then again from teal card, so I could offset them to create a shadow effect.
I dry embossed some white card with a Papertrey Ink Striped Impression Plate, and adhered this to the base card with a couple of strips of the teal card. The rounded panel was then raised onto the background with fun foam.
To finish off, I die cut and shadowed the sentiment with PTI dies and scattered some stars down the right hand side of the panel, colouring a couple of the stars with a green Copic marker.
There is lots of inspiration from the Design Team on the ATSM blog and you can link up your entries there - I can't wait to see what you come up with!
