This week we are back to our Holiday Challenge, and I decided to go with a floral theme for a simple, almost flat design that can be batch made and easily posted.
1) Take a piece of white card and stamp the flowers from John Lockwood's Christmas Rose Elements stamp set using Memento black ink.
2) Colour with alcohol ink pens (I used Spectrum Noir Illustrator pens), then stamp the sentiment from the same stamp set.
3) Die cut the image using the curved die from the My Favorite Things Blueprints 14 die set. I wanted to give the impression of another layer without actually having one, so I left the card in the die, turned it over and went round the edge with an embossing ball tool, before lightly inking the edges.
4) Cut a stitched square die in coral card and layer things up on the base card using fun foam.
