My Favorite Things Doctor's Orders thank you card for hospital staff

Hello friends,

I hope you and yours are keeping well and are adjusting to socially isolating by now. I am missing family and friends, and although we are calling each other and having a Zoom family gathering once a week, it really isn't the same and there are times when only a hug will do! To try and counteract the sadness at being distanced, I'm trying to keep busy and our neighbourhood WhatsApp group has helped with this. Like many people, we come out on a Thursday at 8pm to applaud and thank all the key workers who are putting themselves at risk in order to care for us. In response to the shortages of protective clothing in our local hospitals, some of my neighbours are sewing sets of scrubs and scrub bags, and we have gathered toiletries to be taken into hospitals for patients and staff. As my sewing skills leave a lot to be desired, I have been contributing by making cards to go with the packs, using the digital stamp sets by Birdie Brown that My Favorite Things kindly gave away for this use, and this is one of the cards which I'm showing as my DT card for the new Anything Goes Challenge over at Addicted to Stamps and More

I printed the images, coloured them and cut them out

before arranging them on a background that I stencilled with yellow ink.

The sentiment came with the sets, and the 2 sets I used for this card are Doctor's Orders and Super Hero in Scrubs.

I hope you will have time to pop over to the ATSM blog to see some lovely inspiration from my talented Team Mates, and it would be great if you could join in with us this time.

Stay safe, and thanks for stopping by,

hugs
Carol x
