Paper Smooches and Clearly Besotted Christmas card

Hello everyone, and a very warm welcome to a couple of new friends who joined us as new followers this week. First up is Diana of DL Art blog. Diana is a very experienced blogger who enjoys painting and making and designing cards. She is on a number of Design Teams and hosts the Thankful Thursday Challenge. Then we have Kylie from Kylie is addicted to stamps blog. Kylie is founder of lots of challenge blogs such as Addicted to Stamps and more, Addicted to CAS, and Happy Little Stampers. Her work is just gorgeous and on top of that she creates the most beautiful watermarks, blog headers and signatures. I do hope you will pop over to see these ladies and say hello.

We are up to Challenge 27 over at Christmas Card Challenge and this week we have some colour inspiration for you. I chose to use the blue, the burgundy and the kraft colours for my simple card.

I used Spellbinder dies to create the ovals, and inked the centre oval with some blue ink. The angel from Paper Smooches A Blessed Christmas set was die cut and coloured with Copic markers, and I used a silver marker and a little Wink of Stella on the wings. The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted Joy to the World and I curved it to echo the oval shape. I texturised the panel with the PTI Canvas and Linen Impression Plate, rounded the corners, and finished it off with a couple of little stars.

Why not pop over to see what the talented Design Team have to inspire you with this week and join in with us

I'd like to play along with

Thanks for stopping by.

Hugs
Carol x
