Clearly Besotted Feeling Sheepish birthday card

Hello everyone and welcome to the July Happy Little Stampers Case the Designer Challenge.

This time it is my turn to be CASED and I came up with this card

I started off by watercolouring a sky background on some watercolour paper using blue, purple and pink ink, and while it was drying I made the arched frame by cutting one of the MFT Stitched Arch Stack dies and then taking one of the smaller dies and cutting it from the centre. This is a great way to stretch your dies and you can use any die sets that have graduated sizes. I stuck the grass (MFT Grassy Field die) onto the watercoloured panel and fussy cut a couple of clouds to float in the sky.

The sheep is from the Clearly Besotted Feeling Sheepish set, and after it was stamped, coloured and die cut out, I added it to the frame. Next, I die cut a stitched rectangle panel and stamped the sentiment from the same set before embossing it with the Papertrey Ink Canvas Impression Plate to give it a little texture. To finish it off, I matted the panel onto some pink card before adhering it to the base card, and added a few little hearts.

I'd be thrilled if you will join in with us this month and CASE my card. The challenge runs for a month and the winner will receive a $15 discount at the Happy Little Stampers Store.

Why not visit the Happy Little Stampers Blog to see how the DT have CASED my card?
