Well, the weeks keep zooming by and I can't believe we are so far into April. I'm here to share the start of another challenge at Addicted to Stamping and More, and this week is CAS week!
I came up with this card using my new swan stamps from MFT. It's a pretty general card that could be used for Mother's Day or other celebration occasions depending on what is stamped inside.
1) Take a card blank and mask off a circle at the bottom corner of the card before sponging Broken China Distress Oxide ink inside the circle.
2) Stamp the water ripples and splashes from Clearly Besotted Make a Splash stamp set towards the bottom of the circle and add some white pen and glaze pen to make the water shine. This hasn't photographed well but you can see it a bit better in the small photo at the top.
3) Stamp the 'make a splash' sentiment in the blue ink and then stamp again slightly to the right with white pigment ink to give a shadow effect. Stamp the 'It's your day' from MFT Hog Heaven underneath it.
4) Stamp, die cut and colour the swans from the MFT Splendid Swans set and attach them to the card with some foam tape.
5) Finish off by splattering some dots of ink around the card.
