Hello friends, after our 6-month hiatus to give our awesome leader, Kylie, a break from all the hard work she does to deliver lots of design challenges, we are back for a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More. Yay!!!
And the first challenge is for you to dig out your paints, markers, inks, stencils, masks etc and show us how you make your mark.
I used my new Hello Bluebird Besties stamp set to create this sweet little scene. I cut a mask for the outside of the sky and inked inside it with a cloud stencil, and sofly inked the grassy hill. I have to confess that I haven't had pleasing results in the past from my Ziggies but someone suggested to me that it might be because of the card I was using. I tried the Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper and I found I got much better results. I still need some more practice but I feel a bit more motivated to use them now. I love the sentiment on this card - especially true for us in lockdown but at least we can still meet one person for a walk!
It's really good to see my teammates again and I hope you will visit the ATSM blog to say hello and welcome them back. We also have a talented guest designer this month so be sure to visit Marina who has the cutest little mouse to share with us.
I'd like to play along at

It is a pleasure to meet you again with the ATSM challenges. And I must say that your card is very topical and warms the heart ! What an adorable scene and your coloring is just amazing. I know what you mean with Real Brush pens since I had the same problems and I had to buy Bristol Strathmore paper as well. This paper really makes the difference and you'll end up loving your pens. Wishing you a very Happy New Year and may all your wishes come true !
How adorable! LOVE the uplifting sentiment! Thanks for joining us at Try it on Tuesday!!
Nearly missed this one Carol...so very cute...and yes what we all wouldn't give for some company right now!...fabulous! xx
What a sweet little scene! To me, this pair have a little echo of Pooh and Piglet - perhaps since I'm such a big winnie the Pooh fan. ;) Regardless, the card is adorable, and your colouring perfect.
So sweet and I love your stencilled sky
Thanks for joining us at Try It On Tuesday Challenge

That adorable scene has really made me smile!! Such a lovely sentiment too, as you so rightly say. Your watercolouring looks fabulous. Hope you are doing okay xx
So cute! Isn't that the truth too...love the sentiment!
Grrrh! Every time I visit you and type a comment it refreshes and I have to type again!?! Anyway... your card is so adorable and the painting looks perfect. I confess I only used my zigs once or twice and discovered that if I squish them onto a palette or something similar, add water, they then work for me. Still I really don't use them....
This is so precious!! I love the coloring you did and your fabulous sentiment which is oh so true!!!
So precious and sweet. Love the images and the sweet feel of this card!
Oh my stars this is precious! What a sweet, charming, immensely cute card. The sense of happiness and love it conveys warms the heart to no end.
