Happy Little Stampers, Papertrey Ink and Paper Smooches birthday card

Hello everyone and welcome to the Happy Little Stampers Case the Designer, March Challenge.

 

This time we are lucky enough to have the lovely Kim inspiring us with this gorgeous card,

and I took inspiration from the blocks of colour to come up with this card

I simply cut pieces of paper and arranged them on the card until I was happy with the placement and then I removed them and stamped on each piece. The Happy came from the HLS Bold Birthday Sentiments set, and I embossed it with white embossing powder. I stamped the four corners with a tiny stamp from the PTI It's a Celebration stamp set. For the green rectangle, I stamped and embossed the 'birthday' from the Paper Smooches Sentiment Sampler set, and then framed it with a blue label holder. On the circle, I stamped and embossed the greeting and added a little candle from the It's a Celebration set.

To finish it off, I die cut a couple of candles from the PTI Birthday Style set and stamped and embossed the flames before arranging them on the tall panel.
